The Name...setting captives free

The NAME...recently I was in a meeting, the topic was "trafficking, human slavery...the selling of human beings for sex - women, little girls as young as five years old...across our borders, our nation..." I could feel the darkness of this evil begin to enter the room, as graphic images were shown of victims...sensing this darkness even as we were discussing justice and mercy...hope for the victims.
These are somebody's daughters...born for such a time. Now...their Father in Heaven is coming to rescue them...
This is a deep evil bound in the humanity and sin of mankind...pornography, greed, hatred, anger, sexual immorality... The enemy is trying to thwart and destroy the destiny of a chosen generation of daughters...and sons...chosen to prepare the way of the return of our King.
With a whisper...for all it takes is a breath of His Name... I said "Jesus...Jesus...Jesus..." I could feel the darkness leave the room and the Light of His Hope and Justice shine bright! Jesus...Hope setting every captive free... (Isaiah 61)
We do not battle against flesh and blood, We battle, through prayer (and action)...against spiritual wickedness... (For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. (Ephesians 6:12)
Even as we take the Light, Truth, and Love of Jesus into the darkness...in these last days...we must be fully equipped with a cleansed & healed heart, covered by the Armor of God and the Blood of Jesus...motivated by His Perfect Love which casts out fear...following Jesus into the places He will lead. His Love, His Mercy, His Heart...His Eyes...to the people group of "the broken"....
To see with His beautiful Eyes the true destiny of the broken...so that we may follow Him into the places where the bound are crying out for freedom...and the hopeless are crying out for hope...the lifeless in soul and the spiritually dead are calling out for life...
For such were some of us... ("Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God." - I Corinthians 6:11...written through Paul who was responsible for the killing of many Christians...forgiven, healed, given new eyes, new heart...filled with the passionate power and love of Jesus...)
Jesus is coming with Justice for the oppressor, Mercy for the oppressed...and in these last days coming for the broken held captive in the dark places...
HOPE...there is Power in His Name: "so that at the Name of JESUS EVERY KNEE WILL BOW, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth..." Phil 2:10
Dear God...please send Your Mighty Angels...Your Power to break every chain, open every cage, every prison door of the oppressed...Your Power that protects law enforcement and Your workers of freedom...Your Power that drops the oppressor to their knees and sets every captive free...

I just returned from a local high school to speak to the Passion4Purity group at the school. It was amazing!

The time was 7:05AM and I was in the classroom again with the privilege of speaking into the lives of this chosen generation. I am thankful!

I am so thankful to be given the privilege of seeing what God is doing in this generation and how He is encouraging them to not only excel in academics but also to live His Word.

I had some time to visit with one of the Administrators, who is also a friend. He called it a privilege also and asked for us to keep him in prayer. It is the students that are given more of the opportunity to "speak" about the Lord.

As adults, in public schools, we do not have the privilege freely in America. Yet, as we talked, I told him..."this is really where I learned to live what Francis of Assisi spoke of..."

"Preach the Gospel at all costs and if necessary use words..."

So...that's where I learned it. On the public school campus, for many years...reaching out to 3 schools every week. Taking in boxes of pizza, soft drinks, donuts,loving the staff, teachers, janitors, smiling and looking the downcast in the eye...

Preaching the Gospel without saying a word. I've seen many lives come through the hallways both young and older students:) God has encouraged, watered and caused much growth...and saved lives.

Today...as I was sitting (at 6:45AM:) waiting for school to start...one of the staff I had seen every week came up to me and smiled...she said..."It's good to see you...we haven't seen you in a while..." I was thankful to be welcomed once again.

Passion4Purity Campus was begun in this school about 12 years ago. Much has happened since that time including Hurricane Katrina and alot of devastation in our community.

But...there I was with about 25 AMAZING students of this chosen generation that felt the wake up call of God...not a "program" of any man or woman. Scripture says that what God establishes (births, gives life to)...man can not stop (even our own failures and shortcomings can not stop the work and calling of God:) Thank you Lord!

God's call upon this generation can not be silenced by abortion, media immorality, abuse, abandonment or a government that tries to silence the loving Voice of Jesus Christ. His Voice and Word that heals the broken, gives hope to the hopeless, Fathers the fatherless...and gives a Holy passion to this chosen generation.

It is God that has placed this message of destiny and purity in their heart...and they know it. They have been born for such a time as this. They just want us to come alongside them, encourage them...and give them opportunities to work alongside us.

Don't loose heart. Things are rarely what they seem. God's greater purposes are always at work. I saw that again early this morning and believe that God had given me "another opportunity" to speak to WORLD CHANGERS!

Please pray for them...and the youth of every nation...please.

So...I am reminded again..."preach the Gospel at all costs...and if necessary use words."

Together we will see HIS POWER at work.

Acts 4:13-37

13When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and they took note that these men had been with Jesus.

14But since they could see the man who had been healed standing there with them, there was nothing they could say.

15So they ordered them to withdraw from the Sanhedrin and then conferred together.

16"What are we going to do with these men?" they asked. "Everybody living in Jerusalem knows they have done an outstanding miracle, and we cannot deny it.

17But to stop this thing from spreading any further among the people, we must warn these men to speak no longer to anyone in this name."

18Then they called them in again and commanded them not to speak or teach at all in the name of Jesus.

19But Peter and John replied, "Judge for yourselves whether it is right in God's sight to obey you rather than God.

20For we cannot help speaking about what we have seen and heard."

21After further threats they let them go. They could not decide how to punish them, because all the people were praising God for what had happened.

22For the man who was miraculously healed was over forty years old.

The Believers' Prayer
23On their release, Peter and John went back to their own people and reported all that the chief priests and elders had said to them.

24When they heard this, they raised their voices together in prayer to God. "Sovereign Lord," they said, "you made the heaven and the earth and the sea, and everything in them.

25You spoke by the Holy Spirit through the mouth of your servant, our father David:
" 'Why do the nations rage
and the peoples plot in vain?
26The kings of the earth take their stand
and the rulers gather together
against the Lord
and against his Anointed One.[c]'[d]

27Indeed Herod and Pontius Pilate met together with the Gentiles and the people[e] of Israel in this city to conspire against your holy servant Jesus, whom you anointed. 28They did what your power and will had decided beforehand should happen. 29Now, Lord, consider their threats and enable your servants to speak your word with great boldness. 30Stretch out your hand to heal and perform miraculous signs and wonders through the name of your holy servant Jesus."

31After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly.

The Believers Share Their Possessions

32All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of his possessions was his own, but they shared everything they had. 33With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and much grace was upon them all. 34There were no needy persons among them. For from time to time those who owned lands or houses sold them, brought the money from the sales 35and put it at the apostles' feet, and it was distributed to anyone as he had need.

36Joseph, a Levite from Cyprus, whom the apostles called Barnabas (which means Son of Encouragement), 37sold a field he owned and brought the money and put it at the apostles' feet.
